Lisa Owen - Therakits

Lisa Owen, MS, OTR/L, CLT, CHT

Founder | CEO Right Hand Therapy

Lisa is a mother of two, wife, enthusiastic baker, yogi, entrepreneur, educator, and occupational therapist. She earned her master of science in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University in 2009 and has been specializing in upper extremity care ever since. She earned her Certification in Lymphedema Therapy (CLT) in 2009, and has spent a significant amount of time treating patients recovering from breast cancer surgery and treatment. In addition to treating primarily shoulder to hand injuries, Lisa has experience working in home care, acute care, long-term care, and school-based settings. Lisa earned her Certification in Hand Therapy (CHT) in 2015, and currently works in a hospital-based hand therapy clinic in southern New Hampshire. In 2017, Lisa founded Right Hand Therapy, a continuing education company dedicated to the practice of hand therapy. Lisa is an experienced educator both nationally and locally. She has presented for the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT), New Hampshire Occupational Therapy Association (NHOTA), Right Hand Therapy (RHT), and at local universities. She is an adjunct faculty member in the Occupational Therapy Department at the University of New Hampshire (UNH).

Beckie Moore

Beckie Moore, OTR/L

Beckie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Utica College of Syracuse University in 1992. She has spent the majority of her career caring for patients with hand and upper extremity injuries. She passed the Certified Hand Therapist exam in 1998. In addition to being the lead therapist for the chief of hand surgery at a clinic in Worcester, MA she spent 18 years working in a busy hand therapy center in southern NH. She is Graston certified. Beckie currently splits her working hours between providing hand therapy in an outpatient orthopedic hospital-based clinic and a small rural school. In addition to her 25+ years in hand therapy, she has 5 years experience providing school based OT for pre-K through 4th grade. Beckie has also worked in acute hospital care and nursing home care. When Beckie is not working or running, you can find her standing on a field somewhere volunteering or cheering for one of her three boys. Beckie also enjoys floating on Northwood Lake watching the loons, making puzzles with her husband, or reading a good book.
